‘Back to Cabot Cove’ meeting scheduled for Sept. 20
French film director Christophe Herreros' new project, “Back to Cabot Cove,” a remake of scenes from the TV show “Murder She Wrote,” will be filmed in Boothbay Harbor, chosen because of its resemblance to the town of Cabot Cove in the series. The film will be shot between Monday, Sept. 26 and Friday, Sept. 30.
Herreros is looking for volunteers to play in the film (who could also be professional actors). He is interested in people willing to play themselves in the film — police officers, teachers, waitresses, fishermen, etc. First, secondary and supporting roles as well as cameo and background characters are needed.
Herreros and members of his production company are organizing a meeting with residents interested in being in his short film, “Back to Cabot Cove,” on Sept. 20 at 116 Pleasant Cove Road in Boothbay. Interested individuals are asked to send an email to back2cabotcove@gmail.com for the meeting time and other information.

The short film will be shown in contemporary art spaces in 2017. This project is financially supported by the French National Center of Arts.
