The Boothbay Region Garden Club proudly presents another home for your enjoyment on its “Sea Around Us" tour on July 21.

Beach Rose Cottage was built in 1895. The cottage sits on the edge of Grimes Cove and offers panoramic views. Whether you look to the east or the west, the views of the islands are beautiful. Like many of the turn-of- the-century homes on Ocean Point, the 2½ story shingle-clad summer cottage reflects Gothic and Victorian traditions, and today retains its original architectural style inside and out. When you step inside you are warmly welcomed by the burst of wonderful colors that awaken your senses to what can be. The colors in the house are echoed in the surrounding gardens with over 50 varieties of day lilies and an ever changing display of flowers.
