Local author, herbalist, and yoga instructor Amy Jirsa’s book, “Herbal Goddess: Discover the Amazing Spirit of 12 Healing Herbs,” was just released by Storey Publishing. It's full of beautiful color photos of plants, herbal lore, delicious recipes, as well as yoga poses inspired by the energetics of healing herbs.

Rising Tide Community Market is holding a book signing and reception to celebrate Jirsa's gorgeous new book, Friday, May 22, 4-6 p.m.

Rising Tide’s deli will be preparing a few of the delicious recipes from the book for attendees to try at the reception, so don’t miss it!
