The Boothbay Region Historical Society is excited to show its support for the class of 2026 with its merit-based award. This scholarship will award $1,000 to one Boothbay Region Senior who successfully completes the requirements of the Scholarship Committee and has plans to go onto higher education. Majoring in history is not mandatory but connecting other subjects with history and demonstratingits importance is desirable.  

Students interested in applying for this scholarship should contact Mr. Wilkins in the high school Guidance Office for more information about how to apply. The application deadline is May 1, 2026, with a presentation to the winner at the annual Awards Night on June 10, 2026. 

Last year’s scholarship winner was Cleyton Splaine. We are pleased to offer another scholarship this year. This would not be possible without help from the community.
