Boothbay Region High School coaches and administrators honored the nine senior members of the BRHS field hockey team and their parents Oct. 4 before the team’s last official regularly scheduled home game at Perkins Field. The team, now 11-1, has one rescheduled game at home on Monday, Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m. and will hopefully host at least one tournament game – to be announced.

Greeting their parents or other relatives on the field and presenting them with a carnation were Emily Amaral, Page Brown, Elizabeth Ham, Kayla Lewis, Sydney Meader, Sydney Mercier, Kylie Michael, JoAnna Shaw and Lilly Sherburne.

BRHS Principal Dan Welch and Athletic Director Allan Crocker also honored Coach Donna Jordan for getting her 300th career win this week against Winthrop. They presented her with a framed team photo and article on the game.

The Seahawks went on to make senior day memorable by defeating the Hall-Dale Bulldogs, 10-1.

Congratulations seniors!
