    Norman Morehouse, 97, of Augusta and Presque Isle died peacefully at his home in Augusta surrounded by family on April 16, 2019.

    He was born in Newport, Maine on July 6, 1921 the son of William Oral and Grace Gunter Morehouse. He attended public schools in Westfield, Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, and one semester at the Aroostook School of Commerce in Presque Isle.

    M. Patricia Benner, born July 10, 1935 in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York, died April 12, 2019 at Sussman House in Rockport.

    She lived most of her adult life in New Harbor, graduating from Bristol High School. Pat married Donald E. Benner Oct. 10, 1935, whose stint in the Navy took them to Groton, Conn., and Key West, Florida. Upon Don’s honorable discharge from the Navy, the couple returned to New Harbor never straying far from the area again.

    The Rev. Cn. Dr. Richard H. Hall of Brunswick returned to God on April 14, 2019, surrounded by the love of his immediate family: Ellen, his wife of 52 years, and their three adult children, Jim, Matt, and Sarah.

    Dick was a devoted son to Louise and Earl, brother to Dave and Doug, their wives Judy and Arlene, uncle to Julie, Maureen, Sue and Andrea, father-in-law to Sarah, Patrick and Sarah, and fun-loving Papa to Nate, Drew, Henry and Charlie.

    Barbara Jean Hodgdon Stacy of Dresden passed away on April 2, 2019.

    She was born on June 22, 1946 to Shirley Reid Hodgdon and Perley Hodgdon. She grew up in Woolwich, attending Woolwich Central School and Morse High School. Her sport was basketball and often remarked that the Phippsburg girls team was tough to beat. She adored her father and went on many outings with him down to Trevett to visit her grandmother and various aunts and uncles.

    Marjorie Wayne Marr, 82, passed away March 14, 2019 at the St. Andrews Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor.

    She was born on July 25, 1936 to Everard and Myrtle Spinney. Marjorie grew up in Boothbay and attended local schools.

    While in school she played basketball and softball, was involved in the Senior Minstrel Show, and was a member the chorus. She graduated from the Boothbay Region High School Class of 1954.

    Martha was born to Frederic and Hazel (Farnham) McKown in East Boothbay on April 29, 1934 in the house where she lived for 82 years until she moved to Boothbay Green for health reasons.

    Merle C. West, 70, of Alna, passed away at his home on the afternoon of March 11, 2019, after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma.

    Born in Damariscotta on August 8, 1948, he was the son of Fred and Wilberta (Nichols) West.

    Merle grew up in Wiscasset, attending local schools and graduating from Wiscasset High School. In 1967 he married his first wife, Nancy Jean Clancy, and the couple would welcome a daughter, Lisa.

Fossett for over 64 years. She was the youngest of four children born to the late John and Ethel Young Trask and was predeceased by her two brothers: J. Gordon Trask and William Trask.

    He was born on the family farm in Jahns Valley, Wisconsin on Nov. 28, 1930, the son of Oscar H. Noah and Irene (Haigh) Noah. The family moved from the farm and opened the County Farm Tavern. While attending high school he worked on local farms. After high school Oscar enlisted in the Navy serving until his discharge in 1953.

    He was born in Maine and never lost his love for being a “Maniac.”

    Born Nov. 28, 1939, to Gerald and Louise Kelley, he is survived by his wife, Sylvia, and son, Sean.

    Frank loved being busy, whether riding his bike, working in his shop, walking, or enjoying conversation with friends or strangers.
