Boothbay Region Garden Club friends and guests will gather again Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the Armillary Garden, Boothbay for the regular monthly meeting of the membership. The meeting will commence at noon following the BRGC board meeting scheduled at the same location for 10:30 a.m. Bring a chair, snack, beverage and please wear your mask. No refreshments will be served at this outdoor meeting.

This month’s informative program, “Grab your camera,” will be an opportunity to pick up some tips for photographing your garden. A discussion on subject matter, helpful pointers and habits to avoid, followed by a Q & A and an opportunity to practice your skills, if you like, in the surrounding gardens will be the order of the day. Come and share your garden photography experiences, hone your skills and enjoy the camaraderie of friends coming together while being safely spaced apart in the open-air setting of the gardens.

As a reminder to members, the Aug. 21 Happy Hour at the Southport Yacht Club has been canceled.
