Please join the non-profit organization Old Dogs, New Digs for a screening of the film “A True Love Story.” This is a free event open to the public. The film will be shown at the Harbor Theater on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m.

Old dogs are often overlooked. The organization Old Dogs, New Digs works with all animal shelters in Maine to foster old dogs, to live out the last of their life in loving homes. They also take in hospice dogs.

They give temporary homes to the pets people who have been misplaced, until they find a new place and their dogs can rejoin them.

Action for Animals, a non-profit organization, will also be showing a brief clip and an interview that was on Channel 8 discussing the organization. Action for Animals helps people in Lincoln County with their vet bills when there is no other choice.

There will be a speaker from the organization as well as refreshments and raffle items. Donations will appreciated.
