Over the decades I’ve asked, through the Register, for donations of local high school yearbooks. We’ve done very well in building up the collection, and it is due to those people who have given them to us. We had none when I got involved with the historical society in 1986, but since the late 1990s we have acquired them from 1934 to 2010, except for a few missing ones.

We have no 1951 Boothbay Harbor High School yearbook; nor do we have Boothbay Region High School yearbooks from 2000 or after 2010. If any readers can help us fill out the collection, we’d be very grateful. Please bring in yearbooks to the historical society at 72 Oak Street, Boothbay Harbor, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Questions? Call 633-0820.
