Dear Editor:

The cover of the Town of Boothbay 2018 Annual Report is so revealing. The back cover displays a lovely, peaceful country scene of open landscape, trees in bloom all over, and mountains and sky in the distance.

The front, in contrast, looks like a wannabe center of the concrete life of the cities, except without the cars and shops and people all around to give it life.

A sad tale, signifying so much.
