Presentation and free workshop at Lincoln Home

Mon, 05/06/2019 - 11:00am

Learn to identify Maine’s hawks and owls and their habitats through the spectacular photographs shared by Maine Audubon representative John Weinrich. We welcome to the public to join us at The Lincoln Home on Monday, May 13 from 3 to 4 p.m.

The Lincoln Home is also hosting a free workshop for the business community focusing on compassionate customer service for people with dementia. Join us Wednesday, May 15, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. to learn communication skills that will make your business a dementia-friendly establishment. Empower employees to understand how to help customers with dementia by making them feel safe, secure and treated with dignity in our local banks, shops, stores, restaurants and places of business.

To sign up for the workshop, or to learn more about family caregiver classes, contact Steve Raymond, 563-3350 or steve@lincoln-home.org
