Dear Editor:

May 3rd is a very important day for residents of our peninsula. It will be the day to get out and vote on some very critical things.

Tom Minerich and Rosemary Bourette are running for select board. Both people care very much about the Boothbay Harbor community. Tom and Rosemary know the importance of our schools, our business community and keeping taxes reasonable.

One of the things I find most vital about the two of them is their transparency. There isn’t a question about what’s happening in our community that you can’t ask either of them. They are more than willing to try and answer. When serving on the board, both Rosemary and Tom will put the thoughts, feelings and views of the residents above their own. This is essential in a candidate that is going to help run our town. When heading to the polls, please consider voting for Tom and Rosemary.
