Parking lots overflowed in the area of Boothbay Region YMCA as kids and parents made their way to the Boothbay Baptist Church-hosted annual Trunk or Treat. The UMaine Dunk Team returned to show off its high altitude tricks, while two bounce houses and a couple ball games kept kids big and little entertained in the midst of making their rounds for candy.

Lions, tigers, bears, pirates, princesses, gladiators, fairies and ninjas were just a few of the colorful characters roaming the field house. No Halloween event is complete without meandering around a sugar-hyped horde of the undead and avoiding the piercing gaze of vampires and the tricks and spells of witches. Fun was had all around by all ages on the crisp eve before Halloween.
