    A retirement reception in honor of former Boothbay Harbor postmaster Lesley Blethen will be held Sunday, Dec. 22 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Charles E. Sherman American Legion Post 36, 25 Industrial Park Road, Boothbay. Presentations and remarks will begin at 1 p.m. Please RSVP Brian Blethen at 207-837-0861 or brian.blethen@gmail.com. Light food and drinks will be provided.
