Due to last week’s storm, the start of the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club’s Thursday Night winter socials was held on Friday. This is the 20th year of these gatherings, which has met once a month, October through May, in the warmth of members’ homes.
Dee and Howard Wright originated these socials in October of 1999 at their Southport home. They had the pleasure of hosting at their East Boothbay home to start the 20th season. Despite the storm damage around the region, some 30 guests arrived with tasty treats, which were enjoyed by all.
