The Boothbay Region YMCA, in partnership with local schools, churches, town offices and the Community Navigator, will begin accepting “Tree of Giving” applications Nov. 1 through Nov. 15. The “Tree of Giving” is an opportunity for the community to assist families in need of some cheer this holiday season. There is a simple form that can be picked up at the YMCA front desk lobby.

If you wish to purchase a gift for a child in need, gift tags will be available Nov. 20 through Dec. 14 at the Y and other locations within the community. Community members and groups are invited to stop by the Y, choose tags off the tree, purchase the items, wrap them and return them with the tags to the Y by Dec. 14.
