Y Arts’ ‘Three Wee Kings’ Dec. 16
Join Y Arts for this year's Christmas production of “Three Wee Kings,” Saturday, Dec. 16 at 1 and 5 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor. Youth and adults from the region have come together to bring us the story of the journey to Bethlehem.
WHO will find the King, and WHO will the King BE?
“Three Wee Kings” - by Betty Hager and Daniel Sharp - is an imaginative Christmas musical featuring talking stars; lions, lambs and shepherds all of whom think the King of Kings will be one of their kind (species). Why? Because the Bible calls the infant King “the Bright Morning Star,” “the Good Shepherd,” the “Lion of Judah,” and ”The Lamb of God.”
Three very small, you might call them “wee“ sized, kings discover the true King of Kings; a tiny baby; and tell everyone the news!
The production stars Y Arts youth performers Simeon Bates, Ronan Cullina, Camden McCool, Spencer Pottle, Isaiah Ferrell, Caleb Bates, Aubrey Hardwick, Emerson Harris, Meg Sledge, Jordan Chamness, Maeve Cullina, Sophia Scott, Sarah Harris, Sophia Mansfield, and Morganne Phelps. Along for the journey the show features Joel Biron, Nick Mirabile, Roosevelt Bishop, Meredith Fowlie, Carissa McCurdy, Samantha Davison, Noelle Timberlake, Angela Pinkham, Richardsky Adoux, and Shiselie Adoux.
General admission tickets are $5 at the door. The Church is at the corner of Eastern and Townsend avenues, Boothbay Harbor.
