    Wiscasset Police Department reported the following for April 16-30. There were 129 calls for service, eight arrests and a motor vehicle accident.

    Arrests/Summonses

    April 17, Adam Giles, 44, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested for Violating Condition of Release, by Officer Jonathan Barnes.

    Crystal Hinkley, 35, of Wiscasset was arrested for Unsworn Falsification, by Barnes.

    Crystal Hinkley, 35, of Wiscasset was arrested for Tampering with Witness, Informant, Juror or Victim, by Barnes.

    April 23, Kent Reed, 60, of Wiscasset was summonsed for Failure to Register Vehicle, by Sgt. Perry Hatch.

    April 25, Devin Alexander, 32, of Wiscasset was summonsed for Failure to Register Vehicle, by Chief Larry Hesseltine.

    April 26, Armando Rivera, 28, of Glastonbury, Connecticut was arrested for Operating Vehicle without License, by Barnes.

    Erik W. Ferrell, 18, of Westport Island was arrested for Operating Vehicle without License, Operating Vehicle W/O Valid Inspection Certificate, by Hesseltine.

    Amber Ladd, 36, of Wiscasset was arrested for Unsworn Falsification, by Barnes.

    Accident

    March 29, Barnes responded to an accident on Gardiner Road. Thomas Quaranto, 76, of Nobleboro was making a left turn onto Gardiner Road and failed to yield the right of way to Travis Obrien, 45, of Bremen, who was traveling northbound following the roadway. Minor injuries were reported.

    Stops/Citations 

    The department conducted 55 motor vehicle stops for violations, five in the morning school zone and one in the afternoon school zone. Eleven citations were issued.

    There were 13 stops for speed violations: four on Bath Road, six on Federal Street, and one each on Hooper Street, Gardiner Road and Birch Point Road.

    There were 11 stops for inspection violations: two on Federal St, one on Old Bath Road, three on Bath Road, three on Gardiner Road and one each on Hooper Street and Old County Road.

    There were eight stops for registration violations: one on Federal Street, one on Old Bath Road; three on Bath Road, two on Gardiner Road and one on Chewonki Road.

    There were 13 stops for operation violations: six on Bath Road, one on Pinewood Drive, four on Gardiner Road and two on Fort Hill Street.

    There were three stops for defects on Bath Road and one on Federal Street. There was one stop for obstructed view on Federal street, one for stop sign violation, one for illegal pass on Bridge Street, one over road limit stop on Hooper Street, one distracted driving violation on Gardiner Road and a stop on Willow Lane.
