Wiscasset Police Blotter: Medicinal marijuana certificate revoked

Wiscasset Police Dept. entered the following in its log for March 23-29.

Alarms

Sgt. Kathy Williams checked on an alarm tripped at Quik Stop due to employee error.

Williams checked on an alarm at Lincoln County Jail Museum on Federal Street, which was tripped falsely because of kitchen area motion.

Reserve Patrolman Benjamin Kolko investigated an alarm tripped at Ames Supply.

Assist citizen

Patrolman Perry Hatch assisted a female who complained that someone called her telling she won money and she wanted to know what to do. She has reported the same issue before, and Chief Troy Cline has told her what to do.

Assist other agency

Chief Troy Cline investigated a situation at Maplewood Trailer Park on Gardiner Road in which a male subject has had his medicinal marijuana certificate revoked. Cline removed two small bags of marijuana, and the card, to send back to the provider.

Domestic disturbance

Cline investigated a situation occurring on Bath Road between a woman and her boyfriend who was attempting to retrieve his things. Dispute was all verbal with no weapons or drugs involved. Male subject left for the day with no threats and no assault.

Drug investigation

Patrolman Perry Hatch investigated a possible drug problem at Wiscasset High School.

Fire

Patrolman Alfred Simmons investigated a report of a fire on Willow Lane, but Wiscasset Fire was unable to see anything after traveling the whole length of Willow Lane.

Juvenile problem

Patrolman Perry Hatch rendered services at Wiscasset Primary School concerning a student who was out of control.

Hatch investigated a problem with a juvenile that was reported at Wiscasset High School.

Motor vehicle accident

Patrolman Alfred Simmons investigated an accident occurring on Fowle Hill Road near Wiscasset Transfer Station where a car went into a ditch and people were trying to push it out.

Reserve Patrolman Benjamin Kolko issued a warning for speed on Bath Road at the intersection of Birch Point Road.

Kolko issued a warning for inspection on Old Ferry Road.

Kolko issued a warning for speed on Gardiner Road.

Chief Troy Cline issued a citation for uninspected vehicle and no sticker and a warning for inadequate exhaust.

Cline issued a warning for driving with an obstructed view on Hooper Street.

Cline issued a citation for speed on Bath Road near Holbrook Pond.

Kolko issued a warning for speed on Water Street at the intersection of Main Street.

Kolko issued a warning for inspection on Main Street at the intersection of Fort Hill Street.

Kolko issued a warning for speed on Gardiner Road.

Kolko issued a warning for speed on Bath Road at the intersection of Birch Point Road.
