Wiscasset Police Blotter July 2-8
Chief Jeff Lange reported the following activity for July 2-8:
On July 4, Colby Wyatt, 26, of Southport, was arrested during a traffic stop for Erratic Operations.
On July 3, Tanner Clements, 25, of Augusta, was summonsed for expired inspection sticker.
On July 3, Jody Jacobs, 61, of Brunswick, was summonsed for failure to yield right of way while turning left.
On July 3, Brittany Pennel, 26, of Brunswick, was summonsed for texting while driving.
On July 3, Curt Lyford, 36, of South Portland, was summonsed for texting while driving.
On July 3, Graceson Cyr, 23, of South Portland, was summonsed for texting while driving.
On July 6, Taylor Delano, 18, of Wiscasset, was summonsed for allowing minors to possess or consume liquor, operating a vehicle without a license, operating a vehicle without proof of financial responsibility, and attaching false plates.
On July 2, Deborah Gillis, 68, of Westport Island, pulled into oncoming traffic, hitting a vehicle driven by Lorraine Demichele, 64, of Camden.
On July 5, Arieanna Mills, 18, of Wiscasset hit a vehicle driven by Pauline Dalton, 79. of Wiscasset, when Dalton failed to yield the right of way to Mills.
For the week ending July 8, police responded to 117 calls for service. Of those, 22 were property checks and 27 were vehicle or traffic-related. There were multiple false burglar alarms, animal complaints, medical emergencies, welfare checks, community policing on Main and Water Streets, complaints of fireworks, one response to a fire and one domestic disturbance.
