Wiscasset Police Blotter Jan. 16-31

Chief Larry Hesseltine reported the following activity for the dates of Jan. 16-31.



On Jan. 23, police responded to a crash at the intersection of Bath Road and Page Avenue. Alaine Pinkham, 43, of Georgetown was driving her 2007 Honda SUV southbound when Caitlyn Jennings, 27, of Oxford turned her 2009 Ford SUV left from the northbound lane and failed to yield the right of way. A third vehicle driven by Michael St. Cyr, 32, of Warren, was also northbound, following too closely, and hit Jennings’ vehicle. All vehicles were towed.  

On Jan. 30, police responded to a crash on Bath Road near Old Bath Road. Samuel Mayhew, 31, of Boothbay Harbor was driving his 2006 Chrysler van in what police called a “reckless, careless, negligent, or aggressive manner.” He struck a 2006 Buick driven by Charles Blum,  63, of Pownal, who was making a right turn. The Chrysler was towed; the Buick sustained damage to the rear but could be driven.



On Jan. 16, Diana Delaney, 42, of Wiscasset for Harassment.

On Jan. 20, Anthony Codega, 55, of Pompano Beach, Florida, for Motor Vehicle Speeding: 30+ mph over speed limit.

On Jan. 22, Douglas Rines, 50, of Wiscasset for Failure to Register Vehicle.




On Jan. 16, Joseph Carriero, 53, of Wiscasset, for Operating After Habitual Offender Revocation. 

On Jan. 19, Nathan Herald, 31, of Damariscotta for OUI (drug), Unlawful Possession of Scheduled W Drug, and Use of Drug Paraphernalia

On Jan. 28, Jesse Carmichael, 27, of Wiscasset for Fugitive From Justice

On Jan. 19, Kara Overmiller, 26, of Wiscasset for Fugitive From Justice

On Jan. 31, Taylor Delano, 19, of Wiscasset for Harassment by Telephone and Violating Condition of Release
