Watching for woodcocks
Friday, April 20
Meet with the Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) from 7:15-8 p.m. at Oak Point Farm, 60 Samoset Rd, Boothbay Harbor and prepare to be dazzled and amazed by the seldom seen Woodcock, a bird that puts on an amazing mating display each spring. Learn all about the life of a Woodcock while we attempt to witness the elaborate courtship in the fields of BRLT's newest preserve. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly and bring a flashlight. Registration required. FMI or to register, contact Environmental Educator Tracey Hall: email@example.com or call BRLT: 633-4818.
