Explosive personalities and sailing adventures based on Waldoboro shipbuilding history will be presented by Mark Biscoe at 1 p.m. Part One: 1900 - George Welt’s attempts to revive wooden shipbuilding in Waldoboro, his courting of William Palmer, Massachusetts schoolteacher turned businessman and the evolution of their efforts. Part Two: 1928 - Inexperienced Harvard student Russel Seaver’s adventures working on board the five masted Cora Cressey under sail.
