Dear Editor:

I am writing to lend my support to Stephanie Hawke in her campaign for State Representative.

As a small business owner, I appreciate her knowledge and support of the issues we face in Maine. Small businesses make up over 60% of Maine’s economy, and we need someone who understands what it is like to run a business and employ people. In 2019 Maine ranked 7th in the country as the worst state in which to do business. I know that Stephanie will work to help Maine become more business-friendly.

Stephanie did an excellent job when she served on the Marine Resources Committee. She made time to notify us when bills were being introduced that she thought might affect our business.When we had questions, she tried to find the answers and attended meetings with us. We were very lucky to have her on the committee to support our fishing community.

She has been the most dedicated and helpful representative that this region has had in the last 40 years.

I urge you to vote for Stephanie!
