Dear Editor:

We would like to thank the Rotary Club of Boothbay Harbor, the American Legion, and Watershed for the Ceramic Arts, as well as all the folks who came out to the annual Soup Bowl Supper, for another successful year. As usual, the hall was packed to the gunnels with food and people!

We also want to thank all the local establishments and individuals who donated the soups, salads, and desserts. It was all delicious, as evidenced by the empty pots when the dinner was over. Thank you also to those local businesses that donated the door prizes and flowers that decorated the tables.

For the past few years, the Rotary Club has donated all of the proceeds to our organization and the Watershed, which we deeply appreciate. This was the first year that Rebuilding Together helped with the organization of the event and we were impressed by how much goes into putting it together. Everyone involved did a terrific job.

Last, but not least, our thanks to the volunteers who helped with the set up and take down at the Legion hall, who went around gathering the food and other needed items, and worked hard to make this event as successful and fun as it is.
