Dear Editor:

I’m writing to express my gratitude to the LincolnHealth nurses running the COVID-19 vaccine program.

My husband is a shut in who missed his second vaccine dose. He received a call from LincolnHealth Friday with the offer of a home visit by one of the nurses for his second injection. Lori, RN arrived about 20 minutes later to administer his shot.

Not only has the clinic at the YMCA been amazingly well run but the chance of a home visit for a shut in is extraordinary.
