Tamara J. Chase

Wed, 02/19/2020 - 10:15am

Tamara J. Stetson Chase, age 56, left this world too soon on Feb. 17, 2020. Her passing, be it unexpected, was peaceful. Born Feb. 3, 1964, she will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her most.

“Tammy” as she was more commonly known, will be remembered by those who knew her as a free spirit, an artist, a lover of animals and a woman with hair as beautiful and wild as her heart. Her favorite quote comes from Mark Twain; she felt it embodied her as a long time lover and mother of cockatoos.

“She was not quite what you would call refined. She was not quite what you would call unrefined. She was the kind of person that keeps a parrot.”

Tammy is survived by her mother Debbie (Dunton) Holmes and father David Stetson. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband Peter Chase as well as her two sons, Cory King and Christopher Hallinan. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Katelyn Hallinan. She will be greatly missed by many other loving family members and friends in addition to those closest to her.
