Dear Editor:

Message to the ‘Squad’: socialism has always failed, everywhere. Insects have their queens, their soldiers, and their workers spinning a marvelous collective, and revolt is inconceivable. But guess what, humans are not insects. They are born alone, they naturally favor excellence over equality, and they are hard-wired to vigorously defend their individuality no matter what the cost. Every parent knows this without exception.

That is why socialism has always failed.
