Dear Editor: 

I am writing in support of re-electing Cameron Reny to the Maine State Senate.  As the son of teachers who were involved in making their community a better place for everyone, I am familiar with the skills that a school counselor like Cameron Reny brings to public service: 

1. Counselors are strong communicators 

2. Counselors are good listeners 

3. Counselors are effective collaborators 

4. Counselors have patience

5. Counselors care 

Cameron Reny is committed to protecting the rights of women, including reproductive freedom and access to health care.  Cameron’s commitment is important to me because my sister’s life was recently saved following a very difficult pregnancy.  My sister survived a miscarriage because she had access to the necessary health care. 

Please join me in helping to re-elect Cameron Reny for the Maine State Senate on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to ensure that all people have access to the health care they need.
