Dear Editor:

Paul Coulombe’s superb letter in support of Boothbay Harbor police in their bid to renew the contract with the town was strong and deserved. I have little more to add other than to express my own deep and heartfelt respect for the police officers whom I have witnessed as a local citizen and former ER doctor at St. Andrews. We are blessed to currently have these wonderful humans who serve us so well. They have always been here for us, now it is time to support them with better pay.
