Boothbay Region High School is optimistic that this year’s senior class will be able to have the traditional graduation experience that this community has become accustomed to and the senior class deserves. Graduation at BRHS is a truly unique experience, rich in tradition. It is a time that students and families will remember for a lifetime. Graduation is a celebration of our seniors and their families as they transition to the next phase of their lives.

With all of the fun memorable activities that lead up to the big day and graduation itself, also comes a significant cost. These expenses have historically been covered and paid for by the senior class. Due to current circumstances related to the global pandemic, this year’s class has not had the opportunities to raise funds as the classes before them have. The Class of 2021 was not able to host a prom last year. They are also very limited on the types of fundraisers they are able to do while still adhering to social distance guidelines.

Boothbay Region High School would like to give the community an opportunity to sponsor a senior’s 2021 graduation, with the ultimate goal of raising $10,000 to cover all graduation costs. The amount needed to sponsor a senior is $200 per student. The sponsoring of a senior would be a “generic” contribution and not be assigned to a specific student.

The Boothbay region is an incredibly special community. We celebrate our history while inviting opportunities to welcome the future. Let’s celebrate the brightest parts of our future, our children!
