Dear Editor:

Representative Stephanie Hawke is running for re-election to serve District 89 in the Maine House of Representatives. She is highly regarded and respected by members of all political parties and easily crosses the aisle to get the job done.

Stephanie supports and advocates for children, veterans, the less fortunate, mental and heath issues. She is always available and accessible to explain the details of proposed legislation which allows you to better understand the reasoning behind her vote. Stephanie is an effective Lead on the Legislative's Marine Resources Committee with her deep ties to maritime industries.

Small businesses face many challenges such as health care, government regulations, tax reform and the economy. As a small business owner, Stephanie has first hand knowledge of the day-to-day and long-term struggles to keep a business viable.

Stephanie's door is always open and she continually strives to serve her constituents by standing up and fighting proposed changes that will negatively affect her District. She is tireless and dedicated to fighting the good fight.
