Selectmen approve ballot question for Nov. 3 election regarding ordinance changes
Thu, 09/10/2026 - 2:19pm
Boothbay selectmen met for 13 minutes Sept. 9, but it was long enough to approve a ballot question for the November election. For the past two years, the planning board has reviewed municipal ordinances and presented proposed changes to the 600-page document. Residents will vote on those changes on Nov. 3.
Town Manager Dan Bryer said the proposed changes would be available at the town office prior to Election Day.
In other action, selectmen approved a Class I, II, III and IV liquor license renewal for Carriage House Restaurant in East Boothbay.
Selectmen meet next at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23 in the meeting room.
