The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team fell to 3-7 on the season with a 4-1 loss to Dirigo High School at home Monday, May 23.

Freshman Sawyer Blake, second singles, provided Boothbay’s only victory, defeating Dirigo senior Lucas Micks 6-3, 6-1.

Other scores: Cleyton Splaine lost 2-6, 0-6 to Hayden Adams in first singles. Andrew Fowlie lost 4-6, 7-5, 6-7 to Keegan Foreman in third singles. Rodi Mayne and Neal Baldwin, in first doubles, lost 2-6, 1-6, to Logan Hodgkins and Logan Timberlake. Second singles players Colby Allen and Chase Mansfield lost 0-6, 4-6 to John Lane and Colby Haas.
