At home May 31, the Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team defeated Winthrop High School, 5-0, in the opening round of the Class C South tournament.

Eighth-seeded Boothbay (4-7) will now face top-seeded Madison (8-2) on Thursday, June 2. Time to be announced. Madison defeated Boothbay 4-1 on May 9 at BRHS.
