Dear Editor:

Please have the town of Boothbay or any regional planning office to consider placing a stronger pole light or better, a blinking caution light at the intersection of Route 27 and River Road.

Please also place signs at this Route 27/River Road intersection so travelers on Route 27 can see a hospital sign to go on to River Road to get to the hospital in the Damariscotta area.

This Route 27 intersection is the key link to Damariscotta and needs more lighting to make clear to turn on to River Road.
