Dear Editor:

As always in a campaign, some candidates like to paint a picture that they aren’t running against anyone but running for themselves. At the end of the day though, you should know who all the candidates are and what they stand for so you can make an informed decision.

There are definitely differences in the race for the board of selectmen.

Here’s what I can tell you. If you would like change and are tired of what happened to our community during two years of discussion around the east side, you might want to look at Tom Minerich. He recently visited me and he is the real deal. He has been talking about the need for tourism and responsible development on the east side for a while. Tom is a business owner, he loves this community, and he is one of the most positive people I know.

He is who I will be voting for and I hope you will join me.
