Plumbers over physicists
Dear Editor:
I write this note that I learned many years ago regarding physicists and plumbers. I've read the notes in the Boothbay Register regarding Rachael Townsend earning a Master Plumber's license. The following is related.
The society that values its physicists more than its plumbers is destined to fail.
Neither its theories nor its pipes will hold water.
As a physicist, I've remember this should I ever get too big an ego or forget that we need plumbers as much as physicists. Often we need plumbers much more.
