Dear Editor:

I’m writing this letter on the behalf of Rosemary Bourette. She’s become family to me and Richard. Whenever there’s a celebration, campaigning or if George just decides to have a barbecue, I’m grateful that I’m on a list of friends and family to be called on to come and enjoy the feast.

Rosemary has done so much for our little peninsula over the past 40-plus years. Just to name a few … past director of the student aid fund, member of the Boothbay Civic Association, past member of the Comprehensive Planning Board, current member of the Board of Appeals, a wife, mother and grandmother.

The one thing I admire most about Rosemary is she’s a doer. She gets things done in a timely matter. My husband and I will be voting for Rosemary as she has no agenda and is fair, smart and has a mind of her own.
