A new home relaxation and wellness massage business will be opening in Boothbay. The planning board approved Caroline Roberts’ change of use request for her 976 Wiscasset Road home to operate a business. This was one of two applications the board reviewed and approved Aug. 21. The other was Robert Dodge’s application to add a porch and connector to his 38 Green Landing Road summer home. Dodge is from Beaufort, North Carolina, and requested an 11-foot by 24-foot porch with a 10-foot by 4-foot connector. Both structures will be covered by a roof. 

The board meets next at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 in the municipal building’s conference room.
