Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Boothbay Harbor Waterfront Preservation Board and Advisory Committee, I would like to thank Korey Lewis and Rick Carmolli for sponsoring a fundraiser for our group at Pier One Pizza on Friday, Oct. 25, from 4 to 6 p.m. There was free pizza, soft drinks and coffee for all. Music was provided by Dave Gagne and an unexpected surprise by Stan Hornsby of a pulled pork chili stew — a real crowd pleaser! The bar was open as well with Winter Page at the helm.

A great time was had by all and there were many contributions to the Eastside Waterfront Park project. These contributions will be added to the over 580 contributions we have already received. It means a great deal to us when a local business sees the value of our project and is willing to help us achieve our goal. Hopefully we will be able to return the hospitality next year at the park!
