Paint Nite Maine at St. Giles Jefferson to benefit backpack program

Thu, 11/07/2019 - 8:00am

St. Giles Jefferson is hosting a session of the popular Paint Nite Maine program, Friday, Nov. 15, 6 to 8 p.m., to raise funds to support the parish’s backpacks and school supplies program for local students.

Participants will have the fun of painting, with instruction, their own version of the same winter scene. All materials and instruction are provided by Paint Nite Maine, and each painter leaves with a finished canvas.

The cost for the class is $25 per person. Payment is due at the door. For reservations call 207 549-7872 and leave your name, number of people attending, and a phone number where you can be reached. Space is limited, so reserve soon.

The St Giles Backpack Program distributes backpacks filled with school supplies every fall to Jefferson, Whitefield and Windsor schools. Each school receives between 10 and 20 backpacks to distribute at its discretion. Join us for an evening of fun and help support and expand this community outreach.

St. Giles Episcopal Church is located at 72 Gardiner Road (Route 126) in Jefferson, one quarter mile west of the intersection of 126 and Bunker Hill Road (Route 213).
