The top two teams in eight-man football small conference clashed Oct. 25 in Old Orchard Beach resulting in a decisive victory for the Seagulls. No. 2 Old Orchard Beach avenged an earlier season loss to Boothbay with a 43-32 victory. The Seagulls built a 37-8 second half lead before Boothbay mounted a comeback. Both teams entered the regular season finale with 4-3 records, but Boothbay had accumulated more Crabtree points. Saturday is the final day of eight-man football regular season and playoffs begin next weekend.
