Volunteers welcomed! Have you ever wanted to be part of something fun? Meaningful? Engaging? We are looking for friendly/outgoing people what are good listeners to Meet and Greet visitors to The Community Center. Your schedule would be flexible – either morning or afternoon, or both, if you want, for a few hours to fit your schedule. We are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please feel free to come in to look around, talk to us, or just have a cup of coffee, or put a few pieces in the puzzle we are currently working on.

We are also looking for responsible drivers to join our People Helping People program to drive folks to medical appointments, or the grocery store, or just a few errands. We mostly help with travel within the Boothbay region, but occasionally we may go to Damariscotta or Brunswick.

On Wednesdays, we now have a special time slot for cribbage players. We can brush off any rusty game skills during a friendly game of 15-1, 15-2, etc.

Monday, Jan. 23: Knitting 10 a.m. to noon

Tuesday, Jan. 24: Mah-Jong 10 a.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 25: Love to Dance 10:30 a.m.; Mexican Dominoes 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Cribbage 12:30-2 p.m..

Thursday, Jan. 26: Mah-Jong2 noon-2 p.m.; Inner Peace 1-2 p.m.
