News and Notes from the Community Center

You may not know that the tab on your drink can is the only part of the can that has value. To that end, the Shriners collect those tabs to generate funds to help support the healing programs at Shriners Burn Hospitals for Children in Boston. The Red Wagon Program for the month of May will feature our collection effort for the Shriners. Each time you open a drink can, save the tab. We will be happy to put them to good use.

Antiques Roadshow is coming to the Community Center. Participants will bring in an item to be identified and appraised in a group setting. Spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. This is an opportunity to learn about your own treasure and antiques and collectibles in general. More information to follow.

We are keeping a close eye on the case and hospitalization rates in Lincoln County and may, from time-to-time, reestablish our mask requirement. Please work with us as we attempt to keep a safe place for people to gather for much needed companionship.
