It is with great pleasure that we announce two outstanding programs coming up in October. On the 21st, prominent biographer, Fred Kaplan, will join us to talk about his writing career. You may want to find one of his books to read before then: “Thomas Carlyle,” for which he was a Pulizer Prize finalist, or one of his many other biographies.

Beginning on Oct. 22, Sandra Leonard will facilitate a four-session flower arranging class. Sandra, who is an NGC Accredited Master Flower Show Judge, speaks widely on ikebana and flower arranging. The class is limited to 12 people and there is a detailed list of supplies participants will need. Sign-up is starting now.

Jen Field’s class, Selling on Facebook and eBay, has been rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 30. Remember to bring your laptop or iPad and cellphone to the class.

Be sure to call 633-9876 if you have questions about our programs or if you need to borrow durable medical equipment or if you need a ride to the center. We are here for you.
