News and Notes from The Community Center

Tue, 04/23/2019 - 8:00am

Please help us welcome Rep. Holly Stover who is serving her first term in the Maine House. She will have a Meet & Greet at the center on Saturday, April 27, from 10:30 a.m. to noon . This is an ideal opportunity to find out what is going on in Augusta and to let our representative know what is important to you and the community. Drop in for a short visit or stay the entire time, but be sure to join us.

You may have noticed that, on each Thursday, we have Open Crafting. This means that we invite you to come in and use our abundantly supplied Craft Room to make whatever you like, using our tools and materials. You can bring friends or children and grandchildren—all we ask is that you clean up after yourselves. If you are not sure what is here for you to use, why not come in and check it out. Whatever you create is yours to keep.

Tickets are still available for the Derby Party on May 4. Don’t miss out on the fun.
