News and Notes from The Community Center

Do you have a 911 House Number Sign posted on your property? If not, you should. The sign, properly posted, helps first responders to find you quickly and the minutes they save may save your life. Signs can be ordered at The Community Center. They cost $20 and are durable and long-lasting. The signs make great gifts for your loved ones or special neighbors, in fact one would be a loving Valentine.

The Annual Valentine’s Day Cookie Walk is coming up on Feb. 13th. What makes this such a special event is that our friends and neighbors bake their best cookies for us to offer as a fundraiser for the Center. We always look forward to the baked goods that come in for our benefit. If you would like to contribute cookies, please call and sign up. We are grateful for your help.

As long as the government is in shut-down we will be collecting gift cards and donations for the Coast Guard. To participate, please call the office for instructions. Our men and women in uniform appreciate your help.
