Mon, 01/12/2026 - 9:21am
The Mt. Abram Roadrunners improved to 8-3 on the season as they rolled over the visiting Boothbay Region Seahawks, 87-52, Friday, Jan. 9.
“Their mascot fit the team perfectly,” said Seahawk coach Dan Hallinan. “They got the ball up the floor fast and shot very well from their primary players. We see them again and would like to see improvement when they come to town.”
Leading the scoring for Mt. Abram were Brennan Mitchell with 29 points, followed by Killian Pillsbury with 24 and Chase Ross with 20.
The Roadrunners went into the locker room at halftime with a 52-29 lead.
The loss dropped Boothbay’s record to 3-7 on the season. The Seahawks are next scheduled to travel to Maranacook (7-4) Monday, Jan. 12 for a 6:30 p.m. game.
