Undeniably one of the most touching, profound and lasting Christmas stories, "Merry Christmas, George Bailey!" still resonates with themes of goodness, sacrifice, friendship and faith.  That's exactly why Heartwood will be presenting two staged radio theater style performances on Friday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 in the Poe Theater at Lincoln Academy.

A growing tradition at Heartwood, the original 1940’s Lux Radio Theater Show, adapted from Frank Capra’s movie “It’s a Wonderful Life!” will be performed with period costumes, festive set design and live sound effects and music - guaranteeing this a warm evening of delights for the entire family.  Student ticket prices are kept to a low $5, courtesy of Peapod Jewelry & HM Payson.

Delectable pre-show treats, witty musical commercial breaks for show sponsors, radio-audience signs for applause and laughter add layers of fun, to this evening of enjoyment.

For a "feel-good" start to the holiday season, reserve soon.  Audiences are filling quickly, for the two 7:30 p.m. performances. Reservations strongly suggested, by phoning 563-1373 or emailing info@heartwoodtheater.org.  Adult tickets are $15.
